Hodge Silk Swabs are premium swabs made from 100% china silk for removing moisture from flutes after each use. Hodge uses silk because it is absorbent, lint free and compressible. They do not leave lint or fibers on the pad skins or tone hole rims (that causes pads to stick and leak!). They are not stored inside the instrument so the moisture does not remain close to the pads. These are the best swabs available today. They are soft enough for polishing the instrument and absorbent enough to soak up the water when swabbing the inside of the instrument.
